The con bazaar offers con-related merchandise from books to games to stuffed toys. Next to the Cable Factory, the Ruoholahti shopping center provides grocery stores, restaurants, ice cream bars, clothing stores, and a pharmacy.
The broad array of stores in the Helsinki city center is only a few minutes’ metro ride away.
The following shopping centers and department stores are located in the city center:
- The Forum shopping center is right at the heart of Helsinki. There are also many other shops along Mannerheimintie.
- The Sokos department store is also located on Mannerheimintie directly opposite Forum.
- The Kamppi shopping center is located above the Kamppi metro station. More stores can be found on the higher levels.
- The Stockmann department store is on Aleksanterinkatu, where you can also find many clothing stores and other shops.
Remember that many businesses attending the con also keep their permanent shops open during the con weekend, some even for longer hours than usual.
And finally, don’t forget the bookstores!
